As a big fan of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, I’ve been checking out the different versions you can buy. Ubisoft has four main editions, and they all get you the core game, of course. But depending on how much you want to spend, you can get extras like digital content, cool physical collectibles, or even printed goodies. Basically, it comes down to whether you just want the game at the lowest price, a bunch of in-game stuff, or a full-on collector’s package!

There are two ways to get Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The Standard Edition is the basic digital version of the game. If you prefer a physical copy, the Launch Edition costs the same price and includes extra goodies like a 34-page artbook, a poster of the game’s world map, and the Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack.
As a huge Assassin’s Creed Black Flag fan, I was excited to see the Deluxe Edition! It’s $69.99 and gives you a bunch of extra goodies. There’s the Master Assassin Character Pack with cool stuff for Edward, and the Master Assassin Naval Pack which lets you customize your ship, the Jackdaw, and your crew. Basically, if you want to upgrade your game with extra bonuses without splurging on the Collector’s Edition, this is the way to go!

The most premium version of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, called the Collector’s Edition, costs $199.99. Currently, Ubisoft’s website shows this edition as out of stock, but they suggest checking local stores to see if any are still available.

For example, GameStop is offering a special Steelbook case featuring Black Flag Resynced with pre-orders, but they warn supplies are limited and the bonus isn’t guaranteed. The Microsoft Store in the US has a promotion for the Xbox Deluxe Edition that includes a $5 digital gift card and an Assassin’s Creed Resources Pack.
